Waymon Gay

Waymon passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, at home in La Center, Wash., with family by his side.

We all will celebrate his cherished life at 1 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Vancouver Firefighters Union Hall, 2807 Fruit Valley Road, Vancouver, Wash.

Waymon graduated from Lewiston High School and lived with his grandma, Charlie Gay, uncle Jim Gay and “brother” Terry Gay.

He leaves behind his sidekick/wife, Randi Buker Gay; daughters Sarah, Guyla, Dulce and Jennifer; niece Tammy Gay; nephew Tyler Gay; and many grandchildren and great-grands; as well as Dick and Sally Hastings, and Barb Potts, whom he loved greatly. He also leaves many “chosen” brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and his four-leggeds: Elvis, Buffy, Stella, Roo and Tinkerbell.

Waymon lived in the moment, loved adventure, loved to make you laugh, smile, and pushed you to see the sunshine.

He would say to you all, that it has been a great journey — full of great love.
