Regis L. Hall, 63, Lewiston

Regis Leigh Hall passed from this world very peacefully in his sleep at
home Thursday, Jan. 3, 2002. He was 63.
He was born Feb. 27, 1938, in Lewiston to Curtis E. and Josepha (Joy)
Yochum Hall. He grew up in Lewiston and attended St. Stanislaus
parochial school and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1957.
Regis enjoyed recalling events from his childhood and the end of World
War II. He was a kind and free spirit and loved the music of the '50s
and reminiscing of the times when he owned a Cushman Airborne
motorscooter and drove his black 1948 Chevy convertible. He had a great
fondness for animals, especially cats.
He and Gloria Broyles were married in 1959 at Lewiston. They had one son
and were later divorced.
Regis married Saundra Pauley in 1969 at Coeur d'Alene. They also had a
son and later divorced.
Regis worked in electrical advertising, selling neon signs in Las Vegas,
Lewiston and Spokane. He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church
in Lewiston.
Survivors include his two sons, Shane Hall of Portland, Ore., and
Bradley Hall Pauley of Studio City, Calif.; two brothers, Gordon T. Hall
of Lewiston and Marcus A. Hall of Mesquite, Nev.; four sisters, IdaMarie
P. Harrington of Hayden, Idaho, Diana M. DeMeyer of Mountain Home,
Penelope C. Britton of Fox, Ark., and Debbie J. Sule of Lewiston; and
one grandson, William Regis Hall of Vancouver, Wash.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Curtis J. Hall.
Visitation is at Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home in Lewiston Wednesday from 9
through the vigil service with the recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St.
Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lewiston by the Rev. Les Kish.
Regis loved his sons and grandson and had a true rapport with all
children.
