Lloyd E. Dupuis passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Guardian Angel
Homes in Lewiston, of complications from Alzheimer's disease.
He was born March 31, 1938, at Butte, Mont., to Paul Dupuis and Edith
Smith Dupuis. He graduated from Lewiston High School.
Lloyd was married to Jayne White. They later divorced.
He and Beverly Goodson were married Feb. 14, 1981. She died on Aug. 9,
2004.
Lloyd moved to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley in 1954. He started working
at Potlatch Forests, Inc., (now Clearwater Paper) in 1954, retiring
after 42 years.
He was a devoted member of Alcoholics Anonymous from 1984 until
Alzheimer's took his health.
Lloyd is survived by seven sons, Dale Goodson of Lewiston, Mike Dupuis
of Winchester, Rick Grayson and Kenny Dupuis, both of Clarkston, Kelvin
Goodson of Lewiston, Dennis Dupuis of Troy, Mont., and Bob Goodson of
Clarkston; and one daughter, Debbie Krause of Lewiston. Also surviving
are 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Beverly Dupuis; two
sons, Chuck (Charlie) Dupuis and Kirk Goodson; and a daughter, Carolyn
Grayson.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Vineland Cemetery in
Clarkston, with the Rev. Nick Hasselstrom officiating. Merchant Funeral
Home of Clarkston is handling arrangements.
