Bonnie Frances Eller, 77, passed away Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, from complications of a fall on Aug. 30, 2016, in Lewiston.

She was born June 19, 1939, at Lewiston, to the late William "Bill" and Esther (Johnson) Eller. Bonnie spent her early years at Big Island in the North Fork of the Clearwater River and a ranch along the Salmon River near White Bird.

In the 1950s they moved to Lewiston, where she lived until her fall. She was a graduate of Lewiston High School and the Lewis-Clark Normal School.

Bonnie was an avid reader and writer, journaling her family history and her early years on Big Island and Salmon River. She was a member of the Syringa Button Club, enjoyed quilting, doll making and fancy work. She loved horses, cats, old country music and wildflowers. Bonnie was always a county girl at heart. She will be remembered and missed.

She is survived by cousins; nieces; nephews; and Christine Winter, friend and helper for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. She never married.

A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 16th Avenue and Ripon Avenue in the Lewiston Orchards.
