LeRoy Robert "Bob" Moser, 85, passed away on March 17, 2025, in Dayton, Nevada. Born on May 1, 1939, in Wallace, Idaho, Bob led a remarkable life defined by his devotion to aviation and his enduring craftsmanship.

He spent his early years in Lewiston, Idaho, as well as Clarkston and Colton, Washington. After graduating high school in 1957, Bob enlisted in the United States Navy. A proud moment for him was serving alongside his brothers-Bill, Verne, and Keith also in the Navy-during their simultaneous military service.

Bob's distinguished naval career spanned 25 years. Beginning as an Aviation Engine Mechanic, he rose through the ranks to become a Master Chief Petty Officer before being commissioned as a Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CWO2) in 1979. He served as a P-3 Orion Maintenance Officer until his retirement in 1982. Though he spent part of his Navy career in Vietnam - Bob was extremely proud of his time as a Warrant Officer in the P-3 Community where he led maintenance teams of up to 250 personnel and worked closely with Pilots, Flight Engineers and Commanding Officers to ensure daily aircraft readiness. Bob retired from the U.S. Navy as a CWO3 in 1982.

Following retirement from the Navy, Bob continued to share his expertise in civilian aviation roles at Lockheed Martin, Phoenix Aerospace, American Valley Aviation, Kellstrom Defense, and Precision Airparts Support Services (PASS), where his technical knowledge remained highly regarded. Bob was known throughout the Aviation community as the resident expert on all P-3 aircraft systems.

Bob earned a Master's Degree in Professional Aeronautics and was a licensed pilot. He built and restored his own Cessna 170 aircraft and frequently flew with his son Andre. His passion extended to vintage automobiles-especially those from 1937-and included restoring and showcasing several classic cars and trailers with Andre and his brothers.

Bob is lovingly remembered by his son Andre Moser; granddaughters Marisa Moser and Monica Moser; great-granddaughter Iverson "Ivy" Jones; and siblings William "Bill" Moser, Verne Moser, Keith Moser, Patty Sue McGarvin, and Terry Moser. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond Moser and Clara (Moody) Imper.

His legacy lives on through every engine he restored and every life he touched.
