Arliss (Palmer) Morris went home to be with her Lord Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the age of 83.

Originally from International Falls, Minn., she moved to Lewiston with her parents, Gordon and Dorothy Palmer, after World War II.

Arliss graduated from Lewiston High School in 1957. She loved the Banana Belt and its surrounding hills.

She worked at Harvey’s Dress Store, Household Finance, Caterpillar Tractor and Holsum Bakery before staying at home after the birth of her second son.

She enjoyed basketball, softball, volleyball, gardening and doll collecting.

She was also politically active saying, she “fought for constitutional Christian politicians to run our country. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14 to save our country. Pray for revival.”

Arliss was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Gene, who died in April. She is survived by her two sons, Brett (Shannon) and Lance; her brother, Gary (Anne) Palmer; as well as five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Living Waters Missionary Baptist Church are encouraged. At her request, there will be no memorial service or other ceremonies.
